Did some more work on my fantasy world. I had created my own language – basically made up new words for existing ones as I am not a linguist or even an English Major (that would be my wife). It was only meant for fun being loosely based on Tolkien’s works. My original world was named “Tor Faerlan” meaning “Land of the Magical People” but I found most people could not pronounce it properly so I had to come up with a more mundane name.
The premise of the land is that there were once many powerful kingdoms that through war, misuse of power and the natural world encroaching, have all but disappeared. There are small pockets here and there hidden deep in the wilds, and of course many ruins to be discovered and searched for ancient treasures, but these are tales best left for another time.
For now I will give you the new logo for my “Ancient Kingdoms” setting, along with the digitized version of my watercolour map.
